US RaceTronics and its Founder
About the Team
Born out of the Dorricott Racing stable, US RaceTronics has big shoes to fill, but the leadership in place is certainly capable. Based at Buttonwillow, California with its shop actually located on the track itself. US RaceTronics made its first appearance as a Toyota Atlantic Championship Series competitor at lastyear’s Long Beach Grand Prix. Many of those on the team made their very first appearance at Long Beach in 2005 and were completely wowed by the experience. Make no mistake US RaceTronics is going to make an impact.

About the Team Owner
Shane Seneviratne, owner of US RaceTronics, was previously Team Manager of multiple-championship winning team, Dorricott Racing. Under his stewardship, Dorricott Racing dominated the Toyota Atlantic and Indy Lights series, the top open wheel ladder series in the United States, winning numerous awards and series championships in 1999, 2001, and 2002.
As Team Manager, Seneviratne has helped a talented pool of drivers from all over the world achieve success in their racing careers. With over a decade of experience in various capacities behind him, Seneviratne is uniquely situated to gather together a team of professionals to continue that tradition. “One of the key things racing has taught me is the importance of every crew member’s role in forging a successful team. I think this has helped me bring the right people into the program, and to put cost-effective training tools and customized programs together for drivers, sponsors, and crew alike.”
Asked about Seneviratne’s ability to take a driver to their next level , 2002 and 2004 Toyota Atlantic Champion Jon Fogarty had this to say; ”I think this is a great opportunity to get accustomed to driving an Atlantic car. Seat time is a valuable commodity and Shane has the experience and connections to put together a package to benefit any driver." ________________________________________
