US RaceTronics’ Pro-Am & AM Drivers Lead Championship at Half-Way Point of LSTNA Season

    Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin (Tuesday, August 8, 2017) – With third-place finishes by the Pro-Am duo of Edoardo Piscopo and Taylor Proto as well as AM driver Brian Thienes, US RaceTronics leaves Road America with the points lead in both classes. Piscopo and Taylor Proto have amassed 76 points through the first six races of the season and are in sole possession of first-place. Thienes’ 72 points have him tied with Yuki Harata with six races left. LB Cup drivers Mark Proto and Parris Mullins were happy to be back on track for the first time since practice 1 on Friday morning.     Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin (August 6, 2017) – US RaceTronics has seen a fair share of ups and downs this weekend at the famed 4.048 mile, 14-turn Road America road course. Yesterday’s race was one of the ups. Pro-Am duo Edoardo Piscopo and Taylor Proto came into the weekend leading the points and extended their lead with a second-place finish in class. Brian Thienes in the No. 17 Lamborghini of Beverly Hills was tied for first coming into today’s race, but was able to take sole possession of the championship lead when he also took the checkered flag with a second-place finish.
